XYOON Flaring Technology is a weld-free, cold-forming pipe connection technology independently developed by Ningbo XYOON Machinery for high-pressure hydraulic piping systems. Benchmarked against internationally advanced pipe connection processes, it addresses the industry pain points of traditional welded flanges—high leakage rates, long construction cycles, and multiple safety hazards—under high-pressure and high-vibration operating conditions. Specifically developed for high-reliability fluid conveyance scenarios in China's heavy industry, energy, and transportation sectors, it fully accommodates the operational requirements of mainstream industrial piping in China.

I. Core Technical Features


1. Fully Weld-Free Process


Cold forming eliminates welding heat sources, welding slag, and oxide scale, removing the risks of thermal stress and stress corrosion.

System flushing time reduced by over 60%, significantly improving piping cleanliness.

No open-flame operations, enabling safe construction in flammable and explosive environments.


2. High Pressure Rating & Vibration Resistance


Rated working pressure up to **420 bar (6,000 psi).

Four-bolt uniform locking structure with pulse fatigue life exceeding 1 million cycles.

No loosening or leakage under continuous high-frequency vibration, outperforming threaded and welded connections in reliability.


3. Full Standard Compatibility


Supports international standards including SAE J518 (Code 61/62) and ISO 6162.

Compatible with China's JB/ZQ 4187 industry standard; installation dimensions are 1:1 interchangeable.


4. Wide-Range Adaptability


Pipe diameter coverage: 16 mm – 165 mm (custom machines up to 273 mm).

Maximum wall thickness: 9 mm; compatible with carbon steel, 316L stainless steel, and other materials.


II. Process & Supporting Equipment


XYOON Flaring Technology employs a self-developed orbital cold-flaring forming process, supported by an in-house produced series of flaring equipment. The machining process consists of five standardized steps:


1. Select seamless precision steel pipes suitable for the cold-forming process, supporting carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials.

2. Precisely cut the piping and remove end burrs to complete pipe-end cleaning and pretreatment.

3. Use dedicated flaring equipment to perform cold orbital flaring, ensuring flatness of the flared end face and structural strength.

4. Complete pre-assembly with domestically produced custom flanges, cone-sleeve intermediates, and high-performance seals.

5. Cross-tighten the connecting bolts to rated torque per specifications to complete the entire piping connection.


III. Typical Application Scenarios


This technology has been deployed in multiple key engineering projects across China, with widespread applications in metallurgy, petrochemicals, and aerospace.
