What are the two connection technologies of XYOON F37 flange?

XYOON F37 Flange is a non-welded flange connection system that primarily comprises the following two connection technologies:

I. 37° Flared Connection

In this connection type, deburred steel tubes are cold-formed into a 37° flare using XYOON flaring technology. An O-ring is installed between each steel tube and the flange insert to provide elastic sealing; a dedicated F37 sealing ring (a composite gasket or O-ring may also be used) is fitted between the two flange inserts. Once the flange is tightened, a high-pressure-resistant elastic sealing structure is formed at the tube joint. This connection type can be used for tube-to-tube butt joints or tube-to-port connections.

Working Principle:

- Orbital steel tube forming technology is used to machine a 37° flared bell shape at the tube end.

- The flange achieves connection and sealing by compressing the flared cone surface.

Technical Features:

Applicable steel tube outer diameter: 16 ~ 165 mm (1/2" ~ 6" flange)

Maximum steel tube wall thickness: 9 mm

Maximum working pressure: 420 bar

Completely weld-free, cold-formed, avoiding welding defects and thermal deformation

II. Retaining Ring Connection

In this connection type, a retaining ring — a segmented stainless steel ring coated with a spring — is used as the locking element. The retaining ring is fitted into a machined groove on the steel tube or adapter. When the flange is tightened, the flange face compresses the retaining ring, forming a secure locking connection. This connection type can be applied to various XYOON F37 scenarios, including bulkhead connections, male-threaded adapters, female-threaded adapters, welded adapters, and elbow connections.

Working Principle:

Flange fixation is achieved via a flange-compressed retaining ring.

Leak-free sealing is realized with a high-performance sealing carrier.

No tube flaring is required.

Application Scenarios:

Situations where pre-flared steel tubes cannot be assembled

Working conditions with limited manufacturing capabilities

High-pressure version covers tube sizes from 1 ¼" to 10"

A low-pressure version (50–70 bar) is also available
