Carbon Steel Fittings are commonly used connection components in industrial pipelines and hydraulic systems, mainly made of carbon steel and used to connect pipelines, transfer media, or achieve transitions between different components. These Fittings are widely used in fields such as mining machinery, hydraulic systems, and petrochemicals. When selecting them, the material and specifications need to be matched according to specific working conditions.
High pressure bearing capacity: Forged / drawn carbon steel base material with stable mechanical properties, heavy series supports up to 630bar working pressure, no cracking under impulse load.
Long-lasting rust resistance: 8–12μm trivalent chromium zinc plating + passivation, passes 500h neutral salt spray test, suitable for outdoor and general humid environments.
Full range one-stop supply: Straight unions, elbows, tees, reducers, bulkheads, transition adapters and crimp fittings, covering all piping layout requirements.
Precision zero-leak sealing: Ground sealing cone surface with±0.02°tolerance, tight metal-to-metal fit, no slow leakage under long-term vibration.
High cost performance: 40–50% lower procurement cost than stainless steel fittings, ideal for mass OEM matching.
Typical scenarios
Construction machinery, hydraulic power units, machine tool hydraulic systems, metallurgical equipment, agricultural machinery, general industrial automation lines.
Why choose us

FAQ
Q: What is the difference between carbon steel and stainless steel fittings?
A: Carbon steel has higher strength and lower cost, suitable for general hydraulic oil environments. Stainless steel has better corrosion resistance, used for seawater, chemical and food-grade scenarios.
Q: Can carbon steel fittings be used outdoors?
A: Yes. Our trivalent chromium plated fittings pass 500h salt spray test, suitable for outdoor and general humid environments.
Q: Are they compatible with Parker / Eaton fittings?
A: Yes. Manufactured strictly to official standard dimensions, fully interchangeable with major global brands.
Q: What surface treatment do carbon steel fittings have?
A: Our carbon steel fittings feature 8-12μm trivalent chromium zinc plating with passivation, providing 500+ hours salt spray resistance for outdoor and general humid environments.
Q: Do you support custom sizes and non-standard configurations?
A: Yes. We support custom sizes, special materials, and non-standard configurations based on customer drawings and specifications. Please contact our technical team with your requirements.
Standard Usage
High-quality Carbon Steel Fittings must be used to ensure that the carbon steel joints with the corresponding technical performance are correctly matched and used. If pipes without the above characteristics are used, the performance of the joints may be severely damaged. Castor Company only recommends the use of the following steel pipes: calibrated and polished cold-drawn oxygen-free annealed seamless steel pipes that comply with the EN10305-4 standard, E235 material (compliant with the DIN1630/DIN2391 standard, ST37.4 material), with the maximum hardness of the pipe outer diameter allowed being 75HRB.
The expansion of the steel pipes must be done using a 200000 expansion machine. Simple stamping methods are not allowed because they make it difficult to ensure the correct alignment of the 37°expansion. The accurate alignment of the expansion and maintaining verticality with the bushing is very important.
In order to make the expansion of the steel pipes as close as possible to the tightened connection point (the joint body), it is necessary to consider using the structural connection of the 37°universal joint. This structural connection requires that the steel pipe leave a section of straight pipe length. This section of pipe length must be fixed when expanding the pipe and will be used.
